FAQs

Does the price include VAT?
No — £200 and £500 are ex-VAT prices. UK VAT at 20% is added at Stripe Checkout, so you'll pay £240/yr for Tier 1 and £600/yr for Tier 2.
When does the engineer visit get scheduled?
After payment FixMate will email you within 2 working days to schedule visits. For Tier 2 properties we'll coordinate multiple visits over the year to minimise tenant disruption.
What if my property fails a check?
The engineer will provide a detailed report. Remedial work is quoted separately at FixMate's standard transparent pricing — you decide whether to proceed. Your compliance subscription covers the checks, not remedial work.
Can I cancel?
Yes — cancel any time before your next renewal date from your compliance portal. No refunds are issued for the current annual period once checks are underway, but you'll retain full portal access until the end date.
Does the EICR in Tier 2 renew every year?
EICRs are valid for 5 years (or per landlord regulations). FixMate will carry out the EICR in the first year of your Tier 2 subscription and again when the 5-year renewal is due — all within your annual subscription price. If you're already within a valid EICR period, we'll record the expiry and schedule accordingly.
Can I cover multiple properties?
Each subscription covers one property. You can subscribe once per property — contact support@fixmate.today for portfolio discounts on 3+ properties.
